Role of Television on decreasing in Cyberspace’s Damages to Adolescents | ||

The main objective of this research is to study the role of Television on the decrease in the Cyberspace damages to adolescents (the study of the experts’ views). The methodology of this research is Delphi Method. The population of this research includes ten professors of social communication sciences of Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch and ten professors of Social Psychology Course (Specialized Family Consulting Group of Ministry of Education). The research’s finding implies that among the age groups, the adolescents are more vulnerable to cyberspace. Television could help decrease such cyberspace damages and attract adolescents to its programs by making films and cartoons appropriate for adolescents’ morale and according to the realities of the routine life. In fact one should say that cyberspace could greatly affect the society culture. Cyberspace could bewilder an adolescent’s identity. Computer games could affect the adolescents’ thoughts and behaviors. The result also stated that the use of the internet could affect the society’s culture. Sufficient education for adolescents in the field of cyberspace could decrease its damages. Adolescents’ familiarity with cyberspace damages could be effective in the decrease of its damages. Television could be effective in the cultural beliefs of the society. | ||
