The basic aim of this survey is "to study the role of university education of propaganda tactics in empowering master communication students (EMCS) to employ these tactics” by using measurement method and completing the questionnaire. After completing the questionnaires, descriptive and inferential data were collected and analyzed by using statistical SPSS software. The students in the field of survey were persons who had been entered at the university by the year 89.Total number of them was 141 persons. In this study, since the population was few all of the samples were used. Due to lack of access to some of the students, we considered the 120 questionnaire. Their data were exploited and analyzed and the results are represented as follows: Teaching propaganda in our universities is not in accordance with the current political, social and communication realities. The professors of this curriculum issues do not discuss enough about subjects related to propaganda and they do not dominate about teaching of these topic. They do not use instruments of educational assistance for teaching the propaganda tactics. Their teaching methods have not been caused that students recognized objective elements in the society and consequently they can not apply them in a useful manner when they work for media. It seems it is necessary that curriculum issues of communication subjected to review or even changed. Also ability and experience of students who have been training for propaganda could have been positive effects on the ability of them to apply this subject in the experimental field. Also the applied propaganda tactics could be somewhat useful for students who are interested and follow them but it is not very effective. | ||
