چکیده | ||
Present research has been conducted to study problems and challenges in electronic training centers(etc) of the Tehran State Universities (TST) from perspective of employees. The research, in terms of purpose, is of applied type. The required descriptive data are collected through survey. Research statistical population includes all 180 employees of the electronic education centers within city of Tehran from whom based on Morgan Sample Size Table and using simple random sampling method a sample of 123 employees is selected. Data gathering tool is a researcher-made 5-scale questionnaire containing 47 questions with an Alpha Coefficient of 0.83. According to the obtained results, low internet speed, weakness in hardware and software resources, and dissatisfaction with the service quality were found as the technology and the technical challenges; high cost and inappropriate investment as the economical challenges, shortage of specialized workforce and short length of the training programs as the human factor challenges, unfamiliarity with electronic training, insufficient support on the part of authorities, student unwillingness for team works as the pedagogic challenges, non-observance of intellectual rights, absence of copyright and security as the legal challenges, and finally, unwillingness to continuous learning and the traditional attitude were found as the cultural challenges of electronic education centers in the state universities. | ||
