چکیده | ||
The main purpose of this study is to examine the relevance of media literacy and the way students of Communication Science apply the social network, Facebook. The methodology is survey according to the purpose, usage and implementation of the study. The statistic society of the study includes all the M.A. students of communication science at Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch who have been permanently active on Facebook. Both the statistic society and the sample are equal in this research. In the other words, thorough counting is done. The measuring means is a questioner prepared by the researcher himself. The final coefficient of the questioner is 0.9369 which indicates its high durability. Total results signify that there is a meaningful relevance between media literacy and the way university students apply the social network, Facebook, due to the meaningful relevance between the content comprehension of the media messages, the skill of awareness of the hidden media purposes, the skill of wise selection of the message and learning the skill of analysis and interpretation and the way the students apply the social network, Facebook. | ||
