چکیده

به فاصله‌ی کوتاهی پس از اکتشاف ژن‌ها وخصوصا حصول یافته‌ها و دستاوردهای جدید درعلم ژنتیک، آشکارشد که علاوه بر برخی صفات ظاهری وجسمانی، رفتار انسان نیز تحت‌تاثیر طبیعت ژنتیک درونی وی می‌باشد. از این‌رو، در‌میان گروهی از اندیشمندان و محققان علوم انسانی، علاقه و انگیزه‌ی جدیدی برای مطالعه، پژوهش و دفاع از مبانی ژنتیکی رفتار انسان و نیز ترکیب دانش‌های خود باعلم ژنتیک ایجاد شد. در این میان، نسل جدیدی از اندیشمندان و محققان علوم سیاسی و روابط بین‌الملل، با هدف تبیین رفتارهای سیاسی بر مبنای طبیعت ژنتیک انسانی، آغازگر سلسله مطالعات و پژوهش‌هایی شدند که درنهایت به ظهور یک جریان علمی ودانش میان‌رشته‌ای جدیدی به نام «ژنوپولیتیک» منجر گردید. با این‌حال، تاکنون، هویت علمی و نیز دستاوردهای آنان، در پژوهش‌های داخلی، مورد واکاوی و بررسی دقیقی قرار نگرفته است. این پژوهش به روش جریان‌شناسی، درصدد پاسخ به این سئوال است که «ژنوپولیتیک، ازچه منظومه وگفتمان، سابقه‌ی تاریخی، موسسان وچهره‌های علمی تاثیرگذار، دستاوردها و چالش‌هایی برخورداراست؟» یافته های این پژوهش، نشان می دهد «ژنوپولیتیک دانشی ترکیبی، طبیعت گرا، تجربه‌گرا-خردگرا و اثبات‌گرای تعدیل یافته است که طی بیش‌ از چهاردهه از آغاز، باروش‌های رفتارگرا ازجمله مطالعه‌ی دوقلوها وفرزندخواندگی، درقالب یک دانش میان‌رشته‌ای منسجم، به تبیین رفتارسیاسی بر‌مبنای طبیعت ژنتیک پرداخته است».
