چکیده

In recent decades, there has been a great desire for High-rise building in the texture of different cities of the country. This phenomenon has advantages, in case of weakness in the principles of planning and design, it also has negative effects. Among the issues related to high-rise building, how they are located and how they adapt to the surrounding urban texture, and among these, one of the important issues is the visual dominate of high-rise buildings on the surrounding spaces and buildings, which violates privacy of The surrounding buildings, especially residential buildings. A review of research shows that few studies have been conducted in the field of applied methods to analyze high-rise building visual dominate on the surrounding texture. The most important goal of the present study is to analyze the visual dominate of high-rise buildings in relation to the surrounding texture by providing a practical method. The present method is simulation and modeling and is used in a two-step process using GIS and Rhino software and Grasshopper plugin for data analysis. In the study sample of the present study, the visual dominate of Alton Tower in Mashhad is studied and analyzed. The results of the present study include introducing the method and steps of analysis in examining the level of high-rise buildings visual dominate on the surrounding texture and also providing suggestions and recommendations in order to minimize the level of high-rise buildings visual dominate on the surrounding texture.
