Clinical effects of laparoscopic high uterosacral ligament suspension on pelvic organ prolapse

چکیده

Objective: This study was designed to reveal clinical value of transvaginal single-port laparoscopic uterosacral ligament high suspension in Pelvic organ prolapse (POP).
Methods: Seven POP patients in our hospital from January 2021 to March 2022 were included. All patients underwent transvaginal single-port laparoscopic uterosacral ligament high suspension. The clinical efficacy of seven POP patients were evaluated. Surgical indicators (operation time, intraoperative blood loss, catheter indwelling time, ventilation time, hospital stays), quality of life scores and pain scores, sexual life self-assessment scores, and complication rate were assessed.
Results: After treatment, all POP patients achieved marked clinical prognostic efficacy, without ineffective cases. Except for longer operation time, the patients’ other surgical indicators (intraoperative blood loss, catheter indwelling time, ventilation time, hospital stays) were all excellent. After treatment, the quality of life and sexual life self-assessment scores presented elevation and pain scores presented decrease (P < 0.05). Seven POP patients had lower complication rates, and their symptoms could be effectively controlled by corresponding treatment.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the clinical value of transvaginal single-port laparoscopic uterosacral ligament high suspension in treating POP is high. It can not only effectively improve various surgical indicators of patients, but also help reduce incidence of complications. Additionally, postoperative pain response is mild, postoperative ventilation is early, intraoperative blood loss is less, and impact on sexual life is small, elevating quality of life of patients to the greatest extent.
