Clinical application of personalized all-ceramic abutments in anterior implant aesthetic restorations

چکیده

Objective We attempted to clarify a better implant aesthetic restoration plan through observing its clinical aesthetic effect and periodontal condition.
Methods 60 patients with anterior tooth loss undergoing implant repair in oral branch of our hospital received enrollment, and a total of 80 anterior teeth horizontal implants received implantation in 60 patients. According to patients' wishes, 30 patients choosing personalized metal pure titanium abutment received inclusion in control group (40 implants); 30 patients choosing personalized all-ceramic abutment received inclusion into experimental group (40 implants). Both groups underwent conventional treatment with anterior tooth implantation and bone horizontal implants. The pink aesthetic index, white aesthetic index, gingival index and plaque index between both groups received comparison.
Results The pink aesthetic index and white aesthetic index exhibited no difference at 1 and 6 months after operation (P > 0.05) , whereas exhibited statistical significance at 12 months after operation (P < 0.05). The gingival index and plaque index exhibited statistical significance at 6 and 12 months after operation (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Though bending strength of personalized zirconia abutment exhibits slight depletion relative to that of titanium abutment, it can still better meet functional and aesthetic requirements of anterior tooth area. The outstanding aesthetic effect of zirconia all-ceramic abutment receives favoring by both doctors and patients. Though all-ceramic abutment receives limitation by price and strength, it is believed that its application prospect is broad with progress of planting technology and materials.
