چکیده

در سرزمین ایران و زندگی روستایی، دام همواره حایز اهمیت فراوان و نیز از ارکان اصلی اقتصادی به شمار می‌رفته است. دامداری در مجموع فعالیت‌های کشاورزی استان گیلان، جایگاه محقری را به خود اختصاص داده است، با این همه یار و یاور و معین ضروری کشاورزی به حساب می آید، یاوری که نیروی شخم و امکان حمل و نقل و کودی موثر را در اختیار کشاورزان قرار می دهد و گذشته از همه، در شمار بسیاری از بخشهای کوهستانی، عمده ترین فعالیت‌ها و منبع اصلی درآمد محسوب می شود. سوال اصلی مقاله حاضر این است که آیا اشتغال‌زایی ناشی از فعالیت های دامداری، توسعه روستایی را در ابعاد مختلف آن امکان پذیر می سازد؟ این پژوهش به طریق میدانی و کتابخانه‌ای انجام ‌گرفته است. در روش میدانی از پرسشنامه، مصاحبه چهره به چهره، مشاهده و عکس بهره‌گیری شده است. نتایج مقاله نشان می دهد که ضریب همبستگی (R) بین دو متغییر جایگاه اقتصاد معیشتی مبتنی بر فعالیت های دامداری و توجیه پذیر بودن در توسعه روستایی 80/0 و ضریب تعیین کنندگی (R2) 64/0 به دست آمدند یعنی 64 درصد از تغییرات توسعه روستایی مبتنی بر توجیه پذیر بودن جایگاه اقتصاد معیشتی در آن است و 36 درصد عوامل دیگر (متغییرهای غیرقابل کنترل) دخیل هستند از آنجایی که p. value برابر 00/0 شده است.
