چکیده

هدف این پژوهش بررسی تجارب زیستة خانوادگی ایرانیان ساکن کانادا بود. در سال ۱۳۹۸ تعداد ۱۶ نفر از  ایرانیان ساکن کانادا، که حداقل ۱۸ سال سن و یک سال اقامت داشتند، به روش نمونه­برداری هدفمند انتخاب و مصاحبة عمیق شدند. روش این پژوهش کیفی بود و با استفاده از مصاحبة نیمه­ساختاریافته و مشاهده و استفاده از روی­آورد داده­بنیاد، تحلیل داده­ها به سه روش کدگذاری باز، محوری و گزینشی انجام شد و از میان مفاهیم اولیه ۵۷ کد باز، ۵ کد محوری (‌خانواده­گریزی، شکاف بین نسلی، جدایی، چالش­های نو، خودیابی) و ۲ کد گزینشی (ساختارگریزی، استقلال و رشد فردی) انتخاب شد. یافته­ها نشان داد مجموعه شرایطی مانند نوع رفتار خانواده­های مهاجر در گذشته و اختلاف بین سبک زندگی و بازخورد نسل­ها،  به ارتباط بین­نسلی آسیب می­زند و افراد را از ساختار خانواده گریزان می­کند. از سویی تجربة دوری از کشور مبدا، ممکن­است بازخورد افراد را به زندگی عمیق­تر کند و در تحول شخصیت و استقلال رأی آن­ها در تصمیمات زندگی­شان قابل توجه باشد.
