چکیده | ||
Exploration of groundwater resources requires recognition of regions and their potential sources. Because of high importance in the karstic regions and their significant role in providing needed water, efforts to explore new sources of Karst, is inevitable. One of the most effective methods in groundwater exploration, geophysical methods, especially methods is Geo-electrics that one of its subsidiaries, is the Electrical Resistivity method that the basic principle behind electrical methods is the injection of current into the ground using a pair of electrodes. The aim of this study was to investigate the lateral and depth extension of fresh and salt water using electrical probing data is Special Resistivity. Three layers were identified in the study area and the maximum thickness of juicy alluvium was 30 m .The best places were found in the lower part of the alluvial deposits. In the study area, in the surface layers grain size are clay and silt with low permeability and contain the waters with very low salinity (16 and 35 Ωm) and grain size in the alluvial deposits are sandy with porosity and high permeability (65 to 110 Ωm ). The abstracted flow is initially balanced by depletion of stored groundwater, but on a medium term this storage depletion is gradually being replaced by capture, which is the sum of intercepted natural groundwater discharge and induced increases in groundwater recharge. Since the depth of the many of the existing wells is more than the proposed amount in this study, the increasing the depth of abstraction wells is not recommended in the study area but is suggested that the location of the well be moved to the new identify places. According to the profiles and maps prepared, the best place to drill a well is 200m from present well and it is recommended that the wellhead be moved from the current location to new locations. | ||
